Rant time!

This past week/weekend has just been...UB*(P)(UIJLKGDGTYE#%!!! D8<

I was all excited to end a super stressful week of college (midterms).  I packed up, threw out the trash (well...my roommate did ), and headed to my car so I could finish my last class and head back home for the weekend.  And what do I find????

...some douchebag decided to come up to my car the night before and cut open a giant hole on my convertible top...

Basically, there's no way I can explain the rage I felt at that moment...well...besides screaming a couple profanities while driving across campus xP

ANYWAY, we (as in my roommate and I) ended up going to the campus police and reporting the incident.  And we found out that I was actually 1 of 6 cars...luckily I was the only one that didn't have anything stolen (but that's because I'm not stupid enough to leave anything valuable in my car ;>.>)...

Unfortunately the campus police couldn't really do anything...and there aren't any security cameras or anything hanging around on the campus parking lot...so that kinda sucks xP

Mom and I looked around the web and found replacements....buuuut...they cost anywhere from $1000 - $4000....and that's not including labor.

To top it off, it rained today xD I had black duct tape covering the gash...but that flew off my car sometime while we were driving back to campus last night...I have yet to check up on my car XP

-sigh- When will it start getting better?

Anyway, if any of you guys are reading this, and know of a place where I can replace a 2005 PT Cruiser convertible top...please let me know xD That would be wonderful...

Also, if any of you guys know the most effective way to temporarily repair a cut on a canvas convertible top, that would be really helpful as well.  I don't want a wet interior in my car ;~;

But for now...looks like I should save up as much money as I can for a new top -3-
